A tough couple of days, a narrow escape, and a ticking clock

Yesterday I went to the needle-man's hoping he would fix my tooth so I can eat more easily. Instead he said he can't help me, and that J&L should be thinking about when to let me go, and whether I'm in pain.

We came home, and they sat discussing it while I went out and laid in the sun. I was having so much trouble eating that they were trying to decide whether to do it yesterday or today. I got tired of hearing about it, so I chased some grasshoppers and then laid in a new spot. That shut them up.

They started experimenting with food texture, and I can eat regular food better than I can eat the mixed-up wet soup I was liking until a couple of days ago. So maybe I can enjoy a few more days in the sun. Lucky for me, it came out. I hate it when it doesn't, and I bug Laura to fix it. I am sure she can. She is very powerful.

She caused an earthquake once, it was very scary. I kept telling her that I felt funny buzzing & stuff in my toes, and that I wanted to go out. She kept saying "in a minute", but finally I yelled loud enough and she got up and said "alright, alright, you little bitch!", as she yanked the door open. Just then the whole house started to shake and I knew that she was very mad. I ran away and everything shook for a long time and when it stopped I let them catch me and take me home, but I stayed away from Laura for a few days.

I'm not sure how long I can take being hungry and having trouble eating, but I think J&L are paying close attention & won't let me suffer too much. In the meantime I am trying to enjoy lots of sunshine and lap time.

Hi Buddy, Oh our hearts are purring and our prayers are with you. Yes, enjoy your Sun time and know we are thinking about you. We had a kitty who was 19 years and we understand what the needle man says... The VET said she was going to leave us and it was over 4 years later before she did.

We are purring and purring and sending loves and hugs and scritches. Spend some good time with J & L... :)

Oh no, Buddy. I really wish there was something they could do to fix your tooth. I'm glad there are some foods that you can eat better. I am going to purr for you to stay strong and be happy, and have many sunny days left.

Sweet little Nezbine, our purrrs are with you! You will know for yourself when it is time to cross the bridge, you just have to let go. And don't hold on just so to not make your humans sad by leaving(we animals have a tendency to do that...), they'll understand!
We will help to keep the sun out so you can lay in warm and sunny spots!
On the other hand: if it is just a TOOTH giving you the trouble - maybe your humans should ask another needle person why it can't be fixed...?

Hi, Nez. May we suggest Joe & Laura try another needle-man? Some V*T's seem to think older kitties and woofers don't deserve treatment.

J&L, read this for something that will curl your toes. We're not yet entirely sure this site is truthful, but why take chances?

Hang in there, Nezbine. We're sending you some healing purrrssss to help.

Aw Buddy, we just met you. I'm sure your beans will know when you're ready to cross the Bridge. It is hard for them to let us go because they love us so much. The Bridge is a wonderful place with lotsa nip, treats and toys and no pain. We'll get to see our humans again.
We're purring and praying for you and your family. Please keep us posted.
